The Company

Mortgagecomply.com Ltd is my company and my company is me, David Payne. It's just the two of us working together to make compliance more straightforward for mortgage intermediaries in the UK. I have a select client base with the smaller firms, some of who have been with me since 2004 when I first set up and when FSA regulation came in. That is not to say that I don't take on new firms because I do, as long as I think I can add value to your business and help you comply with your regulatory obligations.

Whilst I am based in Somerset I have clients in the various corners of England and Wales and also in Scotland.

What I Believe

Compliance does not have to be a burden but it can be burdensome if it isn't done right. There are many handbooks in the Financial Conduct Authority's set of rules but that doesn't have to make for excessive bureaucracy. When compliance is done properly it can both enhance the customer experience and improve sales.

This is why I like to work with my clients to find solutions that will be right for them. One size does not fit all and that is why you need to reply upon experience and not prescriptive thinking in order to design your compliance solutions. It isn't even a matter of getting what you pay for.
